Training Programs Overview

The Education & Outreach program coordinates annual conferences and town hall meetings and conducts ethics training workshops for municipal government employees, elected officials, nonprofit organizations and businesses.

These programs include, but are not limited to:

Campaign Skills Seminars		Providing information on campaign contributions, the Ethical Campaign Practices Ordinance, post-election audits, prohibited uses of public funds, and other requirements related to expending public funds
Mandatory Training for County Advisory Boards		A review of the Sunshine Law, the Public Records Act, and the County's Conflict of Interest/Code of Ethics Ordinance
Model Student Ethics Program		Students interactively consider and resolve ethical dilemmas 2004 - Only U.S. entity recognized in Transparency International's Special Edition Corruption Fighters' Tool Kit 2005 - Received the National Association of Counties' Achievement Award
Municipal Ethics Training		For all elected municipal officials within the County. Call (305) 579-2594 or e-mail to schedule a session.
Ongoing Ethics Training for Citizens & Agencies		For community councils, private and professional organizations.
