Since 2002, the Ethics Commission has conducted ethics training in twenty-four of the municipalities in Miami-Dade County. The interactive two-hour program covers issues pertaining to Conflict of Interest and the Code of Ethics Ordinance.

The Commission on Ethics and Public Trust provides training for:

• municipalities
• advisory boards
• community councils
• private and professional organizations

These are informational sessions intended to increase public awareness of the Ethics Commission and its functions. Sessions are held for government, private, professional and civic organizations. For additional information or to schedule a session, call (305) 579-2594.

Advisory Board Training

All members of Miami-Dade County advisory boards are required to attend mandatory training, which is offered monthly.
